Installation Notes
Test the new screen before fitting it permanently. Reconnect the motherboard and the LCD cable outside the chassis, power the phone on, and check the display and touch. If nothing shows up, stop and reach out before forcing anything into place.
Wear an ESD strap to ground yourself, since static can quietly damage the phone’s internals. Keep the protective film on during testing, and wear eye protection because glass splinters are sharp. Never bend the LCD cable past 90 degrees, as that can cause a black display.
