The Galaxy S22 uses a 6.1″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, released in February 2022 under model number SM-S901B.

Common failure points include cracked front glass, dead pixels, and touch unresponsiveness after drops.

Note: this guide covers the standard Galaxy S22 only — the S22+ and S22 Ultra use different, larger screen assemblies that are not interchangeable with the standard model.

For clients who want the display to look and perform exactly as it did from the factory — richer colours, true blacks, and the same brightness characteristics as the original AMOLED panel — the Original Super AMOLED tier is the right choice.

Confirm your model is the standard S22 (SM-S901B) and not the S22+ or S22 Ultra before ordering, as screen assemblies are not shared across the S22 range.
