4G or 5G — Which Note 20 Ultra Do You Have?

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes in two versions: 4G and 5G (SM-N986B). They are different phones with different internals, and screen replacement assemblies are not interchangeable between them. Check your exact model under Settings > About Phone before ordering — or look for the model number printed on the phone’s original packaging or SIM tray.

Screen Replacement Options

We stock two tiers of screen assembly for the Note 20 Ultra, available for both the 4G and 5G versions:

• Original — a genuine Samsung Super AMOLED assembly, matching factory specifications exactly.

How to Choose the Right Note 20 Ultra Screen

For reliable performance at a lower cost, the OLED tier is a solid choice for most repairs. For warranty-sensitive repairs or when a client specifically wants genuine parts, the Original tier is the safest choice — it also ensures the S Pen digitizer performs exactly as it did from the factory. This is a technician-recommended installation given the curved-edge display and S Pen digitizer calibration.
