OPPO A58 LCD
About the OPPO A58 Display
The OPPO A58 4G features a 6.72″ IPS LCD display (not OLED), with Full HD+ resolution. The device carries an IPX4 splash-resistance rating — it can handle splashes, but is not fully waterproof, and opening the device to replace the screen will compromise this rating regardless. Common failure points include cracked front glass, dead pixels, and touch unresponsiveness after drops.
Note: the OPPO A58x is a different, smaller device (6.56″ screen) and is not covered by this guide — its screen is not interchangeable with the standard A58 (6.72″).
A58 LCD Screen Replacement Options
We stock a complete LCD screen digitizer replacement assembly with frame for the OPPO A58 4G. OPPO A58 screen replacement typically costs between R450 and R650 in South Africa, depending on supplier and warranty terms. Pricing is shown above and reflects current stock. Every unit is tested before dispatch and comes with our standard 6-month warranty.
Installing Your A58 Replacement Screen
Test the new screen before final installation to confirm it lights up and responds to touch. Use an anti-static wrist strap when handling internal components, and avoid over-bending the ribbon cables during the swap — this is the most common cause of a “dead on arrival” replacement screen. If you’re not confident doing this yourself, hundreds of repair technicians across South Africa install these assemblies daily and can help.
