Installation Notes
Test the screen before you fully fit it. Connect the new panel to the motherboard with the audio cable, power the phone on, and confirm touch and display both respond. Only then should you seal the device back together.
Wear an ESD strap to protect the internal chips from static. Handle the flex cable gently and keep it under 90 degrees, because a sharper bend can cause a black screen. Wear eye protection, since glass splinters can cut fingers.
