Each connector is checked for good condition before it leaves our warehouse. The flat flex socket is the link between the screen and the board, so a worn or damaged one can cause flickering, blank screens or touch problems.
Why This Part Works
A damaged connector often looks fine from the outside, but it can lose contact with the display cable. Swapping in a new one restores that solid link. Your phone then gets a clean signal to the screen again.

Installation Notes
Take your time with this one. Test the phone fully before you start, so you know the fault is really the connector. Wear an ESD strap to protect the motherboard from static discharge. Never bend the flex cables past 90 degrees, because the traces can crack easily.
Professional installation is the safest route if you are not comfortable with micro-soldering.
