Installation Notes
Test the screen before you fix it in place. Connect the display cable to the board, power the phone on and check that the image and touch respond. Only then should you close the housing.
Wear an ESD strap to protect the internal chips from static. Wear eye protection, since broken glass splinters are sharp. Keep the flex cable below a 90-degree bend, because sharper bends can cause a black screen.
Do not force the assembly into place. Gentle, even pressure keeps the connectors and frame intact.
