Installation Notes
Test the new panel before you fit it. Reconnect the display cable and power the phone on outside the case, so you know the screen and touch respond before you commit. Wear an ESD strap to protect the internal chips from static, and keep eye protection on when you handle the glass. Don’t bend the flex cable past 90 degrees, since a sharp fold can cause black spots or permanent display faults. If the panel won’t show an image during testing, stop and get help rather than forcing it into the frame.
