Installation Notes
Before you start, test the new part with the phone opened up. Connect the LCD cable, power on, and confirm the display and touch respond. Ground yourself with an ESD strap, and wear eye protection to keep glass splinters away from your face. Keep the LCD cable under 90 degrees of bend, because sharper folds can leave the screen black. Please don’t force the module into place if it resists.
