Installation Notes
Test the new display before fitting it. Connect the screen cable to the motherboard with the phone opened up and power it on. If the image and touch both work, go ahead and install it. Don’t force the part into the frame if it doesn’t fit.
Wear an ESD strap to ground yourself before you touch any internal components. Static can quietly damage the electronics inside the phone. Also keep the display cable from bending past 90 degrees, because a sharp bend can cause a black screen. Protect your eyes and fingers from glass splinters while you work.
