Installation Notes
Before you open anything up, power the phone on with the new screen connected outside the case. If the display and touch respond, go ahead and install it. If nothing appears, stop there and get in touch with us rather than forcing the panel into the frame.
Work with an ESD strap on your wrist so static doesn’t fry the components inside. Wear eye protection, since glass splinters can slice fingers. Keep the flex cable below a 90-degree bend, because sharper folds can leave you with a black screen. Leave the protective film on until the final test is done.
