Installation Notes
Test the screen before you commit. Connect the display cable to the motherboard outside the case, power on, and confirm the image and touch work. Only then should you seat it into the phone. Never force the panel into place.
Wear an ESD strap and keep the phone grounded throughout the job. Protect your eyes and watch for glass splinters. Avoid bending the LCD flex cable past 90 degrees, because a sharp bend can cause a black screen.
