Installation Notes
Test the screen before you commit to the full install. Connect the display to the motherboard with the phone opened up, power it on, and confirm the image and touch work. Only then should you seal the frame. Wear an ESD strap, since static can quietly kill the components inside the phone. Keep the LCD flex cable under 90 degrees when you route it, because a sharper bend can leave you with a black screen. Protective film stays on until testing is done, and eye protection is worth wearing around the glass splinters.
